昨日の第三者調査委員会の報告会見を受けて
本日、午後３時半より三浦弘行九段が会見を開きました。
会見には師匠である西村一義九段、代理人の弁護士も出席。
会見前から三浦九段の表情には
悔しさと怒りがはっきりと見て取れました。
三浦九段は「第三者委員の発表を受けて驚いた」とし、「（出場停止処分を受け）竜王戦に出場できなかったことが本当に残念です。処分明け初めての行事となる、ファンとの交流イベントも私の承諾なしにキャンセルされていた。そのことも本当に残念」と、無念さをにじませた。
あらたな新事実としましては
竜王戦出場に関して「疑いがもたれている状態では対局できない」と
三浦九段が自ら休場届を提出する意志を示したと報じられてきましたが
実際は告発者である渡辺竜王も同席した公聴会の席で将棋連盟の理事から
「竜王戦は開催されなくなった。大変な損害を被った」と嘘の話を聞かされ
責任を追及された挙句に連盟の方から休場届の提出を要求されたとのこと。
また丸山九段との竜王戦挑戦者決定三番勝負に際し
第２局、第３局を三浦九段に内緒で将棋連盟の理事が監視するも
不正を疑われる行動等は一切無かったことも発表されました。
同席した三浦九段の師匠である西村一義九段も「このような深刻な不祥事は初めて。本当に残念。悪質なデマ等も飛び回って心配していたが、第三者委員の報告では疑惑がないとホッとした」と安堵の表情を見せた一方、「（三浦九段は）棋士にとって一番大事な対局を2ヶ月半にわたって止められた。こういう世界では極めて深刻なことで、彼は精神的にも弱っています。非常に心配しています。」と三浦九段を気遣った。
