第５２回しんぶん赤旗全国囲碁・将棋大会（赤旗名人戦）の決勝戦が１５日、東京・池袋のアークホテルで行われました。将棋で稲葉聡さん（３０）＝愛知＝が初優勝、囲碁で平野翔大さん（１８）＝招待＝が連覇し、第５２期赤旗名人となりました。
将棋の稲葉さんは今年１０月、アマチュアとして史上初のプロ公式棋戦優勝を成し遂げた話題の人です。決勝戦は後手番で１１０手の力戦を制してプロ公式戦の将棋新人王戦（しんぶん赤旗主催）出場権を獲得。「新人王戦は一局一局を楽しみたい。たんたんと指す自分らしさを発揮してがんばりたい」と抱負を語りました。
先月、アマチュア棋士として史上初めて
プロの棋戦で優勝するという快挙を成遂げた稲葉アマが
本日、伝統ある赤旗名人戦に見事優勝。ノリにノッてますね。
今回の優勝によって来期の新人王戦の出場権をゲット。
新人王戦は加古川青流戦よりも参加する棋士の質・量ともに
レベルがアップしますが、その中でどこまでやれるのか
「アマ最強棋士」の活躍に大きな期待と注目が集まります。
将棋の準優勝は田中佳久さん（２６）＝山口＝、３位は古屋皓介さん（２７）＝山梨＝、４位は鈴木肇さん（２８）＝神奈川＝でした。
なお、元奨励会三段で
タイトル戦などの記録係としてもその名の知れた
鈴木肇さんが４位に入賞。。
残念ながらプロ棋士の夢は叶いませんでしたが
アマチュア棋士としてのご活躍を期待しています！
