将棋の渡辺明竜王（３２）は１７日、三浦弘行九段（４２）がコンピューターソフトを不正に使用したとの疑惑を指摘したことについて「三浦九段にご迷惑をお掛けしたことを申し訳なく思う」と謝罪した。都内で開かれた竜王就位式のあいさつの中で述べた。渡辺竜王が一連の問題を巡り公の場で謝罪するのは初めて。
三浦九段は昨年１０月１５日開幕の竜王戦７番勝負の挑戦者に決まっていたが、直前に渡辺竜王らから疑惑を指摘する声が上がり、日本将棋連盟は１２月末まで出場停止処分としていた。
連盟から委嘱された第三者委員会は１２月２６日、不正の証拠は認められなかったとする調査結果を発表した。

常軌を逸した思い込みと悪質な言い掛かりによって
三浦弘行九段に冤罪を吹っかけた張本人・渡辺明竜王が
本日、告知もされずにこっそりと行なわれた竜王就位式で
これまでのダンマリを破り、初めて謝罪の口にしたとか。。
確固たる証拠もなしに、渡辺竜王が個人的にセレクトした
羽生善治三冠、佐藤康光九段、島朗九段と、佐藤天彦名人
谷川浩司将棋連盟会長、千田翔太六段に、電話で参加した
久保利明九段を加えた一夜限りの極秘会合の下、有罪確定。
驚くことに、将棋連盟だけでなく竜王戦を主催する読売新聞も
渡辺竜王の思い込みと言い掛かり、そして決定を全面的に支持。
これにより
三浦九段は理不尽な竜王戦挑戦権剥奪、公式戦出場停止に加え
週刊文春誌上で渡辺竜王の独占告白をもとに中村徹氏と取材班が
書いた記事により、一般人の奥様も含め奇人変人であるかのような
印象操作までされる生き地獄をみました。
竜王戦は三浦九段の代打・丸山忠久九段の奮闘はあったものの
結果、渡辺竜王が４勝３敗の成績で防衛を達成。
ここ最近の公式戦で３連敗中と分の悪い三浦九段を竜王戦から追放し
三浦九段から名誉だけでなく高額な収入の機会を奪った上で、自分は
まんまと賞金４千３百２０万円をゲットした渡辺竜王。
本来ならば、タイトル剥奪、賞金没収をされてもおかしくない
そもそも三浦九段が挑戦者だったら、防衛できたも分からない
竜王の就位式の謝辞の中で、三浦九段に触れるのは本当に失礼。
将棋連盟が調査を依頼した第三者委員会が渡辺竜王の言い掛かりは
何一つ「証拠にはならない」との調査結果を昨年末、発表したその直後に
本来であれば渡辺竜王の暴走を認めて協力した日本将棋連盟の理事とともに
会見に出席し、まず真っ先に三浦九段に謝罪するのが筋だったと思いますが。。
それにしても
メディアの取材に対応したことにより、三浦九段にご迷惑をかけたことを申し訳なく思う
とは、ひどい言い草。。
そもそも渡辺竜王の独占告白以外、疑惑を追及する記事は一切無し。
暮れも押し迫って発売された（１６/１２/２８）新年特大号では自ら
文春誌上で「告発は後悔してません」と念まで押しておきながら。。
とにもかくにも
今年の将棋界は渡辺竜王から目が離せないことだけは確か。
