今夜の将棋界は第７５期順位戦がたけなわ。
最高峰・Ａ級の３回戦「羽生三冠－行方八段」は
終盤戦に突入し現在は後手・羽生三冠がリード。。
上図で歩切れとなった行方八段ですが、しかし
終盤の腕力と粘り強さは将棋界屈指と折り紙付き。
まだまだ予断を許しません。。
さて、本日は「鬼の棲みか」Ｂ級１組でも
５回戦が一斉対局で行われ、好カードが目白押し。。
中でも最も注目されたのが
先週開幕した第６４期王座戦の挑戦者・糸谷哲郎八段と
電撃結婚発表直後の対局で名人相手に二歩の反則負けを喫し
ド派手な話題を振りまいた郷田真隆王将の激突でしたが。。

上図１０６手までで、後手・糸谷八段が勝利。
終局時刻は午後７時１９分という異例の早さでした。。
この結果、糸谷八段の順位戦成績は３勝１敗に
郷田王将は１勝４敗と元気がありません。。
戦型は糸谷八段得意の「一手損角換わり」。
郷田王将は攻守に冴えなく、完敗に終わりました。。
将棋界最後の大物といわれた独身貴族生活に別れをつげ
年貢をおさめて心機一転、新しい家庭を築いた郷田王将。
一期でのＡ級復帰を目指す順位戦での対局ということもあり
本局も気合満点でしたが、しかし簡単には事は運びません。。
辛い結果となりましたが、年明けの王将戦防衛戦も向けても
今はただただ、無頼な剣豪・郷田王将の復活を願うのみです。。
