名人戦/第２局の決着をみた先週の土曜日（２３日）。
史上空前の注目が集まる第５９回奨励会三段リーグ戦が
ついに、開幕の時を迎えました。
注目はもちろん、この３人。
史上５人目の中学生棋士を目指す藤井聡太三段と
史上初の女性棋士を目指す里見香奈三段と西山朋佳三段。
慣例として開幕戦の舞台となっている東京・将棋会館が
耐震工事につき閉館中ということで、今回は史上初となります
大阪・関西将棋会館にて開幕を迎えました。
三段リーグ２期目、そして地元・大阪開催が
気持ちを落ちつかせたのか、里見三段は見事、連勝スタート。
さらに、現在は慶応大学の学生でもあり関東所属ですが
大阪出身の西山三段も地元で大器の片鱗をのぞかせる連勝スタート。
おふたりともプレッシャーが懸かる中で、本当に立派。
道のりは長いですが、この調子で頑張って欲しいです！
最高のスタートを切った女性陣に対して
いよいよ三段リーグに姿を現した中学２年生
神童・藤井三段は１勝１敗と指し分けスタート。
１回戦を勝利で飾ったものの
午後からの２回戦で谷合廣紀三段の前に初黒星。
しかし、昨年１０月の三段昇段以来実に半年ぶりとなる
奨励会での「公式戦」であることを思えば、まずまずの出だし。
対局を重ねながらエンジンをかけていって欲しいところであります。
９月の最終節まで、約半年に渡る長丁場。
夢のプロ棋士へ、人生を懸けた熱きレースから目が離せません。
