過去に中学生棋士になった人はタイトルを取っている自分も並びたい
先週の土曜日（３日）
第５９回奨励会三段リーグが全日程を終了。
愛知県瀬戸市在住の藤井聡太三段が
１３勝５敗の成績で見事、トップ通過を果たし
１０月１日付で史上最年少となる１４歳２ヶ月での
「四段、プロデビュー」が決定いたしました。
「神武以来の天才」と謳われた加藤一二三九段が持つ
１４歳７ヶ月の最年少記録を６２年ぶりに更新しての
「中学生プロ棋士」誕生の反響は大きく、翌４日付の
中日新聞では一面に藤井三段の記事が掲載されました。
勝った瞬間は実感がわかなかった。昇段したことは素直に嬉しいです。
一面ではプロ入り決定直後の藤井三段の会見での発言とともに
これまでの足跡や、師匠杉本昌隆七段の談話などが紹介されています。
おとなしいけど将棋のことになると強く自己主張する子どもだった。（杉本七段）
小学生の頃は負けると号泣して盤から離れず
お母様が引き剥がすようにして連れて帰ったとのこと。
ちなみに杉本七段はここ数ヶ月で藤井三段に勝てなくなり
「普通の人より３倍くらい早い」成長ぶりに舌を巻いたとか。
彼は地元のアマとプロが一緒に育てた逸材。最年少でのプロ入りは大変な偉業だが、ここからがスタートだ。同じ土俵で対戦するのが楽しみです。 （同）
