“来年の１月１０日に滋賀県で今泉さんのイベントが
あるというので参加することにしました”
そう切り出したのは
メッセンジャーで会話を始めて、１５分が過ぎた頃。
寒い冬の夜でした。
“今泉さんにご挨拶出来ればと思ったのですが
指導対局も受けさせていただくことになりました”
会話は続きます。
“指導対局って一度も受けたことがないのですが
上手に誘導されて戦型ってこちらでは選べないのですかね。
駒落ち定跡を覚えていった方が良いのでしょうか？”
聞きたかった質問を送信した直後
“定跡もありだと思いますが”
着信音とともに、すぐに返信が届きました。
“私は定跡よりも自分で一生懸命考えて指すことのほうが
将棋の楽しさをわかっていただけると思っているので
定跡は勧めません！”
返信には続きがあります。
“手合いはどうしますか？”
特に考えるでもなく、私は答えます。
“平手でしか指したことないので、本当は平手でお願いしたいですが”
“さすがに平手は失礼ですかね”
“やっぱり。。では二枚落ちはどうでしょう。銀多伝とかありますし”
“二枚ですか。う～ん”
会話は続きます。
“飛車・香落ちはどうでしょう？”
そこで会話は途切れます。
言葉に窮したわけではなく、求めていた言葉を聞けた気がして
自分で自分に何かを問いかけ、確認するための沈黙が必要でした。
“ありがとうございます！
明日から「飛車・香落ち」一本に絞って練習します”
会話にはまだ続きがありますが
気持ちとピントは年をまたいで、滋賀県をフォーカスします。
