女子に続きまして
本日、男子が開幕いたしました
ワールドカップバレー２０１５
女子チームの注目選手は
高さのあるセッター・宮下遥選手でしたが
男子チームの注目選手は、我が地元・愛知県出身の
期待の新エース・石川祐希選手。
５月の東京でも話題の中心は石川選手で
元・全日本選手をして、「彼は天才」と認めるほど
その才能と実力は折り紙付きの超逸材。
噂の石川選手のプレーをみるのを本当に楽しみにしていましたが
プレー以前に、まずはその端正で甘いマスクに目を奪われました。
何たるイケメン。。これは間違いなく人気がでそうですね。
しかし、いざ試合が始まってみると
対戦相手のエジプトチームの高さとパワーに目が釘付け。
高い打点からエゲツない角度で打ち込まれるアタックはもとより
日本選手を吹き飛ばすダイナミックなサービスエースは圧巻の迫力で
男子バレーがこれほどまでにパワーゲームになっていたとはつゆ知らず
強い衝撃を受けました。。
しかし、しかし
エジプトチームの方が圧倒的にプレーに迫力はあるものの
点差は思いの他開かず接戦に。。
第１セットは落としたものの
結果はフルセットの熱戦の末、日本チームが勝利を飾りました。
いや～大したもの。。開幕戦から感動しました。。
石川選手も２４得点の大活躍。
この調子でぜひ、リオオリンピック出場権を獲得して
欲しいところであります。。
