将棋ファン注目の第７４期Ａ級順位戦/７回戦
「久保利明九段－広瀬章人八段」の舞台となった
昨日の関西将棋会館にて同じく行われました公式戦に
我らの大将・今泉健司四段が登場。
第２９期竜王戦ランキング戦６組/２回戦を
藤原直哉七段と戦い、敗れました。。
詳細は不明ながら
二日前の６日に行われた伊奈祐介六段戦に続く連敗は
実に重く、厳しい現実を思い知らせる結果に。。
今期の成績は９勝９敗となり再び勝率５割となりましたが
それ以上にこの３日間で来期の棋王戦と竜王戦が終わりを告げ
今年の目標として掲げたフリークラス脱出に向けて、早くも
暗雲が立ちこめます。。
直近の公式戦５局も１勝４敗。
唯一の白星は香川愛生女流三段からあげたもの。
もともと戦型選択の幅が狭く、世間からの注目と後押しも薄くなる
シーズン後半の勢いが当初から不安視されてはいましたが
果たしてこのままフェイドアウトしてしまうのか。。
相手も将棋で生活しているプロですので
弱みをみせればつけこまれ、飯の種にならざるを得ず
完全実力主義が最大の売りであり魅力でもある将棋界では
打開の道も簡単ではありません。。
しかし、個人的には
２７年越しに叶えた夢の「続き」にこそ興味があり
それをぜひ見届けたいし、自分の人生の刺激にもしたい。
出会えた当初から
今泉先生に「頑張ってください」と送るエールは自問でもあります。
泥水を飲んで死に物狂いで毎日ひたすらに生き残りをかけているのは
別に将棋に限った話ではないので。
