高い志と能力を持つ若者ら人材育成の支援を目指して設立された「孫正義育英財団」が2月10日（金）午後6時から対談イベント「～未来を創る若者たちへ～」を開催した。
同財団はソフトバンクグループの孫正義社長が昨年12月に設立。人工知能（AI）が人間の能力を超える「シンギュラリティ」の世界を見据えた次世代リーダー育成のために、彼らが活躍できる環境の提供や海外留学の学費支援などを行う。
イベントでは同財団の代表理事を務める孫氏が設立への思いをスピーチ。その後「未来を創る若者たちへ」をテーマに孫氏、副代表理事を務める京都大学iPS細胞研究所の山中伸弥所長、理事の五神真（ごのかみ・まこと）東京大学総長、評議員で将棋棋士の羽生善治三冠の4氏が対談する。
