２１年ぶりに実現した２０代同士の頂上決戦となった
今年の名人戦は果たしてどのような番勝負になるのか。。
この１０年は「羽生－森内」の名人戦。
手に馴染んだ「矢倉」、「相掛かり」を中心として
確立された定跡手順を踏襲し、格調高く玉を入城させてから
迎えた課題局面で駒がぶつかり、いざ勝負とねじり合う。。

研究将棋の代名詞「横歩取り」を中心に、囲いはあくまで流動的
第２局、第３局は様々な戦型の要素を取り入れた複雑な序盤模様から
意欲的に構想を試す現代的な力戦が展開された、今年の名人戦。。
それが答えであり、ふたりの将棋。
これこそが佐藤名人と稲葉八段の名人戦。。

終盤戦もないまま、あっけない大差で終局となった
開幕戦には正直、戸惑いを覚えたものの、番勝負が深まるにつれて
両者の目指す将棋が目に馴染み、また呼吸が耳に馴染み始めると
すでに違和感はなく、淡々と紡がれる棋譜が心地よくすら感じます。
明日からの第４局の先手は稲葉八段。
しかし、先手必勝であるはずの将棋の概念を覆し
ここまでは後手番の３連勝で、先手はいまだ勝利なし。
