３連覇を目指す加藤桃子女流王座に
里見香奈女流四冠が挑戦する、第６期女流王座戦５番勝負。
１０月２６日（水）に行われた
開幕戦を里見女流四冠が制して迎える注目の第２局が
明日、大阪府大阪市「芝苑」にて行われます。
本局の立会人を務められます
淡路仁茂九段を間にはさんでの記念写真は両対局者ともに
リラックスした表情で調子の良さをうかがわせます。
加藤女流王座の今期ここまでの成績は
女流棋戦で７戦４勝３敗（．５７１）。
室谷由紀女流二段の挑戦を受けた
春のマイナビ女子オープンを３勝１敗で見事制し
３連覇達成。今シリーズは二冠維持が掛かります。
男性棋士との対戦は５戦して２勝３敗。
普段は奨励会に籍を置き（現在初段）日夜腕を磨く
加藤女流王座ですが今期は女流棋士枠でＮＨＫ杯に出場。
ご本人は本意ではないかもしれませんが、名実ともに
女流将棋界を代表するスターとなりました。
今回は女流将棋界最強であるだけでなく
奨励会でも先を行く里見女流四冠の挑戦を受ける試練の番勝負。
今まさに、加藤女流王座の真価が問われます。
一方、里見女流四冠の今期ここまでの成績は１３戦全勝。
男性棋士との対戦はなく、女流棋士相手にはもはや無敵の存在に。
現在は女流名人、女流王位、女流王将、倉敷藤花の四冠を保持。
今シリーズは体調不良により無念の返上となった女流王座奪還と
女流五冠復帰を目指します。
史上初の「女性棋士」を目指して
女流棋戦と平行して戦う奨励会三段リーグでは
１０月に開幕した第６０回リーグ戦で１勝１敗のスタート。
高い志と努力をペアにする求道者は前人未到を視野に捉え
自らが信じる将棋道をわき目もふらずに突き進みます。
気になる両者の対戦成績は
ここまで１１戦して、里見女流四冠が７勝４敗とリード。
第２局の先手も里見女流四冠となります。
