日曜日（１７日）に関東・関西同時開催で行われました
注目の第５９回奨励会三段リーグ戦の１２回戦、１３回戦。
昇段レースも折り返しを迎えた夏の陣を戦い終えて
トップに躍り出たのは１３歳の中学１年生・藤井聡太三段！
１２回戦で柵木幹太三段に勝利をおさめると
午後からの１３回戦では史上初の「女性プロ棋士」を目指す
里見香奈三段との初手合いも制し、見事連勝を飾りました。
この結果、藤井三段の成績は１０勝３敗に。
次の１４回戦で抜け番を消化し、残るは後５戦。。
ここまで連敗は一度もなく、将棋の内容も高く評価されており
三段リーグ一期抜けを手土産に、いよいよ史上５人目となる
「中学生プロ棋士」が現実味を帯びてまいりました。
２位には同じく連勝を飾った甲斐日向三段が９勝３敗で続き
１１回戦終了時点で首位だった慶田義法三段は痛恨の連敗で
成績は８勝４敗となり、順位を５位まで落としました。。
注目の女性陣は
西山朋佳三段がこの日１勝１敗で通算成績７勝５敗。
里見三段は痛い連敗を喫し６勝６敗と苦しい星勘定に。。
次回の１４－１５回戦は８月２日に開催。
藤井三段は午前の対局が休みで、午後の１４回戦では
西田拓也三段と対戦します。。
空前の期待と注目の集まる第５９回三段リーグは
いよいよ魔物が棲みつく終盤戦へと向かいます。。
